Lovely rustic oval asymmetric baskets made with stunning natural coloured willow and dogwood , locally sourced from the Somerset levels and hand crafted in Wiltshire . Great foraging , mushroom picking , flower gatherer , harvest basket.
The willow is buff with a few bands of white and black with a streak of seasonal dogwood - all natural colours for a stunning rustic basket.
Size is 21" long x 11" wide x 10" at highest side and 12" to top of handle approx.
A contemporary design with traditional English basket making methods . The base is an underfoot base where you use your feet to hold the willow in place whilst weaving with your hands - this method is an ‘Old English’ style of basket making which creates a strong and sturdy basket .
